Apartment renovation in Acropolis

The new challenge for MECHA Engineering finds us fully satisfied. A 1964 apartment of 57 sq.m., renovated and transformed into a cozy home for Airbnb service users.

Considering the wishes of the owners, the proposals of our team and with the help of photorealism we came up with the final form of the project.

For the needs of the renovation, the following works were performed:

Demolition of interior masonry to create the new open space of the kitchen, living room and dining room, dismantling of old closets, doors, kitchen, bathroom, etc.

New water supply and sewerage installation throughout the apartment with cold-hot collector and multi-layer duct.

New electrical installation with new panel, with installation of data network, installation of Paradox alarm.

Construction of plasterboard ceilings in living room-dining room and entrance area with perimeter hidden lighting and ceiling spot.

Installation of new synthetic granite tiles in the living room, dining room, kitchen and hallways, as well as nailed oak solid wood floor in the bedroom.

Installation of new interior doors and cabinets with damping mechanisms and brakes.

Construction of a new kitchen with doors in a combination of matte texture on the base doors and white glossy on the hangers, with return mechanisms and brakes and a bakelite counter.

Complete replacement of the frames with new ones (electric shutters, pleated screens and recall).

Installation of armored security door.

Complete renovation of the bathroom, with new sanitary ware of Ideal Standard, Geberit wall-mounted cistern and Aquarelle bathroom cabin.

The colors (double trowels) in modern shades showed the warmth and the new style that we wanted to give to an apartment where its antiquity had made it non-functional.
