2. What data we collect and why
Visiting the site (log files)
On every visit the server automatically records technical details: IP address, browser and operating system, time of access and the page you came from. They are needed for the site to work and for its security, are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period and are deleted automatically.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in the secure operation of the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form and property viewing request
Name, phone, email, your message and, for properties for sale, the apartment and date you are interested in. We use them only to reply to your request, arrange a site visit or viewing and send you a proposal.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Newsletter
Your email, only if you tick the relevant box. We send you new projects, properties for sale and guides. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. To improve our newsletters, MailerLite records whether an email was opened and which links you clicked.

Visitor statistics
With Google Analytics we measure anonymously how the site is used (pages, time, device, approximate area) in order to improve it. It is activated only if you accept it in the cookie notice.

Google map
The contact page shows a map from Google Maps. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and technical connection details.
Our social media pages
We have pages on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. When you visit them or message us there, the privacy policies of Meta Platforms Ireland, LinkedIn Ireland and Google Ireland also apply, acting as joint or independent controllers. Links from our site to them do not transfer any data until you click.
Your cookie choice
We keep a record of your choice in the cookie notice (accept or reject, and the date), so that we can show that we respected it.
3. How long we keep it
- Contact requests that did not lead to a collaboration: up to 4 years from the last contact.
- If we work together, contract details are kept for as long as tax and technical legislation requires.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Google Analytics statistics: 14 months.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. It is processed on our behalf only by the providers needed for the site to work:
- iphost, hosting provider for the site and our email,
- MailerLite, for sending the newsletter,
- Google (Google Analytics, Google Maps on the contact page, Google Fonts).
Some of them may process data outside the EU, with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
5. Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, to object to processing and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@mecha.gr and we will reply within one month.
If you believe we have not respected your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (1–3 Kifisias Ave, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr).
6. Minors
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
7. Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only those in the company who need your data to handle your request have access to it.
8. Changes
If anything in this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page.
