Apartment Renovation in Piraeus (2024)

Project Description

Another home renovation project was successfully completed by our company in the center of Piraeus. The owners’ primary wish was to create a modern and functional home by unifying the living room and kitchen—which were previously separate rooms—while retaining the two bedrooms and bathroom.

Technical Interventions & Construction Details

Kitchen Design

• Kitchen selection from the Italian brand Arredo3.
• Combination of base cabinets in petrol shade and white hanging units.
• Laminate countertop with a wood texture.
• Gola system for handleless upper cabinets and stylish handles on the base units.
• Addition of a kitchen island that caters to storage needs, offers functionality, and elevates the room’s aesthetic.

Living Room

• Architectural study for seamlessly integrating the living room with the kitchen.
• Installation of an energy-efficient fireplace.
• Custom TV wall unit composition in the new living room, creating an ideal space for relaxation.
• Recessed spotlights and modern light fixtures that highlight the open-plan layout.

Bathroom

• Tiling with 1.20×0.60m grey tiles featuring a stone texture.
• Built-in faucets and modern sanitary ware to create a contemporary environment.

Interior Doors & Flooring

• Interior doors with a white lacquer finish by Golden Door.
• New security front door in the same white color palette.
• Flooring installed throughout all remaining areas using synthetic granite tiles (1.20×0.60m) with a concrete texture, ensuring visual continuity without harsh contrasts when transitioning between spaces.

Energy Upgrade

• New thermal break aluminum window frames by Europa.
• Replacement of the central heating system with an autonomous gas boiler by Daikin, which also covers domestic hot water needs.

The Result

The 75 sq.m. residence was transformed into a modern, bright, and fully functional space of high aesthetics, while achieving significant energy savings and enhancing the overall quality of living for its owners.
