Luxury Apartment Renovation in Chalandri

In August 2022, another home renovation project was completed by the MECHA Engineering team in the area of Chalandri.

The house to be renovated was a typical 1970s apartment. The owners’ wish was to create an independent space inside the house that could function as an office. Our design department, observing the necessary dimensions of the spaces, arrived at the proposal, which was fully implemented. So near the apartment entrance an extra door was placed that leads to the office next to the apartment door.

The residence was completely renovated in all areas. On the floors we installed wood in a natural shade of oak with a herringbone finish.

In the main bathroom, large tiles were installed in combination with built-in sanitary ware and a very beautiful piece of furniture made of oak veneer. The special color of the faucets as well as the wonderful marble sink stands out.

In the WC we chose to install tiles only on the floor and behind the basin. The remaining walls were painted with ripolin in a beautiful blue color.

The accommodation areas were designed and built with the triptych of luxury – practicality – elegance.

The kitchen was fitted with beautiful colors and an imposing marble counter that dominates the space.

A three-sided energy fireplace was placed in the living room so that it provides a view of the hearth from the whole house. The composition of the fireplace was lined with tiles so as to maintain the aesthetics and practicality.

On the large wall of the living room, an imposing bookcase was designed and built specifically for the client’s requirements in a combination of lacquer and natural oak wood. At the end of the library we also combined a nice seat with a mirror.

In the same space we will also see the special construction of a warehouse-laundry made of solid wood. In this way, we managed to turn an indifferent area of the house into the most beautiful corner.

In the office area, we built a completely independent space with its own WC that maintains the luxury and elegance of the rest of the house.

Energy-wise, the house was upgraded by installing new heat-break aluminum frames, adding insulation to external walls and replacing the central heating system with an autonomous natural gas boiler.
