Renovated maisonette in Drafi

Another new maisonette renovation project in the area of ​​Penteli by Mecha Engineering.

Taking into account the needs of the owners and with the help of the engineers of our company we came up with the new location of the house.

The existing condition of the house consisted of living room, dining room, kitchen and two bedrooms on the ground floor which served with difficulty the needs of a family of four, while the first floor was virtually unused as it served mainly needs for storage space of the house.

The construction plan was to create two children’s bedrooms with their own bathroom on the ground floor and to move the master bedroom to the first floor. Thus was built a new comfortable and modern master bedroom with dressing room and its own bathroom on the first floor, while on the ground floor two new children’s bedrooms and a new bathroom. A new WC was also built for the guests of the house.

For the needs of the renovation, the following works were performed:

Demolition of floors, dismantling of old closets, doors, bathrooms, etc.

New water supply and sewerage installation in two bathrooms and a wc with cold-hot collector and multilayer duct, and new sanitary ware of Ideal Standard, Geberit wall-mounted cistern and shower cabin.

New electrical installation with new panel, with installation of data network.

Transfer of radiators and installation of new external loop with thermostatic heads.

Replacement of windows with new thermal breakers.

Installation of new synthetic granite tiles in the corridors and bathrooms.

Finally, the new rustic polished semi-solid wood floor in the master bedroom that “rises” as a headboard behind the double bed, which in combination with the country style of the sliding interior doors and the wooden roof gave a warmer and more luxurious feeling.
