Project description

The project αφορά the complete renovation of an apartment built in the 1980s, which was fully redesigned to accommodate short-term rental guests seeking a high-end hospitality experience. From initial concept to final delivery, every stage was carried out with strong attention to detail, functionality, and understated luxury.

The renovation was designed to deliver a complete hospitality experience, combining refined aesthetics, durable materials, and contemporary technical solutions suitable for intensive use.

Design concept & objectives

The main objective of the project was to create a space with a clear identity that conveys a sense of calm, comfort, and privacy, while standing out on short-term rental platforms. Particular emphasis was placed on ergonomics, spatial flow, and the overall guest experience.

Scope of works & technical interventions

Spatial reconfiguration

A complete reconfiguration of the apartment layout was carried out to improve functionality, circulation, and overall spatial efficiency, achieving a clear organization of uses.

Electrical & plumbing installations

The apartment was equipped with new electrical and plumbing installations designed to meet modern standards, ensuring reliability, safety, and long-term performance.

Kitchen

The kitchen was fully upgraded using carefully selected materials, featuring a glass sliding door that allows for a subtle separation from the living and dining areas while maintaining openness and natural light.

Bathroom & WC

The bathroom and WC were fully renovated with a minimal design approach and premium fixtures, focusing on clean lines, high-quality materials, and ease of maintenance.

Materials & finishes

• high-resistance composite granite floor tiles with a refined aesthetic
• internal lacquer-finished doors and a high-security entrance door
• new thermal-break aluminum window systems with four-season energy-efficient glazing

Heating & cooling

A floor-mounted fan coil system was installed to provide both heating and cooling, ensuring energy efficiency and year-round thermal comfort.

Custom constructions & lighting

The project was completed with bespoke constructions, carefully designed ceiling lighting, and subtle architectural details that enhance the character and atmosphere of the space.

The result

The final outcome is an exclusive boutique Airbnb property, designed to attract a demanding audience, achieve high guest ratings, and add substantial value to the property.
