Complete House Renovation in Paleo Psychiko (2023)

Project description

Complete renovation of a 37 sq.m. apartment, originally built in 1980, with the objective of transforming it into a contemporary, fully functional Airbnb property. The design focused on maximizing the limited floor area, delivering an efficient layout that combines functionality, comfort and refined aesthetics.

Design Approach

The project was conceived to create a modern short-term rental apartment by making the most of every square meter. Through a thoughtful reconfiguration of the floor plan and careful space planning, the apartment was transformed into a highly functional environment that combines ergonomic design, timeless aesthetics and superior construction quality.

Scope of works

• Complete replacement of the electrical and plumbing systems.
• Reconfiguration of the floor plan to optimize functionality.
• Installation of Marazzi porcelain tiles throughout the flooring and bathroom.
• Installation of an Italian kitchen and custom cabinetry by Arredo3.
• Installation of Alumil thermally broken aluminum frames with four-season energy-efficient glazing.
• Complete bathroom renovation featuring concealed sanitary ware, a custom natural oak veneer vanity and a washbasin clad in Calce Tortora porcelain tiles.
• Interior painting using Vivechrom products.

The Result

The completed project is a contemporary Airbnb residence designed to combine functionality, timeless aesthetics and premium quality. The apartment meets the demands of today’s hospitality market while significantly enhancing the property’s value and long-term investment potential.
